Web-only Batch Versions

Hi   Web-Only versions is a workaround solution until full batch versions are available on the Web client and there is no longer a distinction between windows versions and web-only versions.   This functionality is available beginning with the 8.98_200 Series Tools Release for application release 8.12.  This application release 8.12 does require an ESU for SAR 8663474 TT-812 Enable Full BV on Web. This functionality is not available for earlier application releases.   Regards, JDEHelp This email may contain confidential or privileged information for the intended recipient(s). Setup Security for the Universal Table Browser (UTB)

Security can be defined for the Universal Table Browser using External Calls security and Application security. To secure users from the Universal Table Browser: Within External Calls security, the user or role should be secured from access to the Universal Table Browser application UTBROWSE .exe.   A second option is within application security, the user or role should be secured from the P98TAM application.  This application is the application where users specify which table they wish to open within UTB. To grant access to the Universal Table Browser Within External Calls security, the user or role should be granted access to the Universal Table Browser application UTBROWSE .exe.  Then within application security, the user or role should be allowed to run the P98TAM application.  This application is the application where users specify which table they wish to open within UTB. How to recover a deleted package

If the  package was deleted from the Application P9601 but the directory still exist on the deployment server, this is what can be done in order to restore it:  1. Go to deployment server and rename the correspondent package name directory to a different name (just so it does not wipe it out) 2. Go to the package assembly and recreate it with the initial package name 3. Go to the package definition and also recreate it BUT don't check anything: uncheck all boxes, save and activate it 4. Rename the directory back to the initial package name on the deployment server. 5. Do a submit build . It will see that the directory is there, will ask if you want to delete it and say NO. 6. It will process it and actually, since everything was unchecked, it will not do anything but set the build status to complete/successful   Regards, JDEHelp This email may contain confidential or privileged information for the intended recipient(s).
